To belong, everyone wants to feel connected to others. In simple day to day ways. Greeting a passerby with a smile of comment on the weather, or the exchange of words and ideas which change life's, we all thrive when we belong. As Anne Greer reflected on the next path life would take after becoming a mom, she returned thoughts, ideas and moments in her life which were beyond words.

She realized that many of her fond memories were encapsulated in humorous little phrases and inspirational quotes which she shared with friends and family. Contemplated again and again throughout the years, these quotes had become like little friends. They traveled with her when she met new people. They seemed to magically appear when she was stuck for an idea in a business meeting or on call for an impromptu speech. Anne wanted her children to have friends like that.

Then she realized that her father, the seed of many of these great quotes must have been thinking the same thing many years before.

Tom Brokaw would describe Anne's father quite well as a man from "the greatest generation". In such a roll, shared experiences and contemplative moments were few. "Yet, I walk around today as if he was my constant companion. We had shared so much in so little time through his 'friends'". His collection of things "well said" became part of her own.

As a jewelry designer, Anne turned to creating gifts and treasures in a line which was Beyond Words. Anne believes that something well said can inspire a generation, can launch new discoveries or simply brighten your day...day after day.

What were we going to call this sterling pendant containing the collection of ideas, wit and wisdom?
Anne's son, Sterling, at the ripe old age of seven provided the answer:
"Hey, Mom, why don't you call them Sterling Pearls
...like, you know, pearls of wisdom?"

Conversation at the dinner table stopped.
It was just...Beyond Words.

This Spring marks the introduction of the new line to the marketplace. She called her new company Beyond Words. Anne hopes that a gift of something well said can serve as a timeless bridge between friends, family of influential people in someone's life.
